Wrong ... Intercity trains in Spain "include" the so called Regionales (namely the 594/598/599 448 and Alaris).

Actually the ones that are misplaced are the Comuter/Cercanias ... the last two.

and yesssss ... the Arco/Altaria and such are missing.

I wonder if a series 120/130 would be misplaced in this topic ....

I don't really see anything wrong... This is station Noorderkempen, on the
high-speed line between Antwerp and the Netherlands, with a train just
arrived from Antwerp Central. A bit odd, may be, because it is one of the
few examples of local trains operating on a high-speed line. Stock is
M6 with two cab cars and the loco sandwiched in between. This is because
the cab cars have ERTMS while the loco (HLE 13) doesn't. This situation
will disappear as soon as the new HLE 18 locos will be in regular service.

I suggest this thread be closed as we now have individual country-specific threads and this has become not more than a picture collection.

So? It's interesting from a comparison point of view. Keep it open.

+ 1

If we want to transform this section like "highway section", we have to keep comparative threads. It's very interesting.

I don't see why that means we can't have subject-specific international threads like this one.

Anyway, from TheKorean's post, it's interesting how similar Amtrak's logo is to Network Rail's, the quasi-government company that owns the UK's rail infrastructure.

Speaking of the UK, it's already been mostly covered in this thread, but since I live on the Great Eastern Main Line, when I think of "Intercity train" I usually think of this:

The third type of Amtrak passenger car is the double-decker "Superliner" usually used on transcontinental runs (e.g. Empire Builder, California Zephyr, and Super Chief). They are also used (with a different livery) on the Pacific Surfliner and a handful of other services.
