What's with the head shake? They're just trying to have some fun out in the dessert. Let me enlighten you to their work, every couple months a new one goes viral.

What's homoerotic about this?

Four guys dancing in their underwear with their junk flying everywhere? Two guys serenading each other and feeling on each other to a Lady Gaga song? Those Britney Spears and Gaga dance moves are purposely gay.

Did you expect gay porn? Sorry

Ok, if you say so. Just looks like a bunch of guys acting crazy to me because they've got nothing better to do until they're called to duty.

What I really find can be homoerotic sometimes unintentionally is cage fighting and even football with some of the suggestive positions they can get into without even thinking about it. In the gym when I used to bodybuild, guys would get into the most suggestive positions sometimes just spotting each other when trying to go up in the weight they were lifting.

Once I was working out with a training partner several years ago and it was our leg day with us starting out doing heavy squats. He wanted to try to go heavier and instructed me to hold him like that guy was holding that girl over there and to stay with him all the way down. Of course, you can imagine how that looked, but he wasn't even thinking about that. He was thinking about how to get stronger. It happens a lot in football when guys are tackling each other or sacking the quarterback. Sometimes, with the cage fighting, I feel like saying "Guys, confess your true feelings for each other and stop this nonsense!"

Anyway, definitely to change the subject, I heard from my pilot:

"Looking to fly tomorrow around 1PM out of Tamiami Atrp. Working on confirming that the helicopter being available at that time.

Is that ok for you?

Yes, I'll be there unless I hear from you otherwise! I take it you won't be difficult to find."

Guys, I just passed by the New York forum and their "I'm visiting New York thread" really called my attention, does anyone think we could do such a thing in the Miami forum, due to the fact there's alot of tourists coming down here? We could make it the place where the savvy could answer their questions and recommend some good deals. I mean, I'm just saying, it's a great concept for any city with above the norm tourism... although I don't know if anyone will complain for it's lack of originality if we were to "clone it" here.

Are you kidding?! Have you seen some of the threads I've started?! It can't possibly be worse.

Seriously, I think it sounds like a good idea. May want to hear from Q though since he's the moderator.

The thread is now officially called the "So you want to visit Miami?" thread which includes all of greater Miami, the beaches and Opa-Locka included. No need for a separate Opa-Locka thread. I'm trying to keep the proliferation of threads in check.

Btw, did you know that the three tallest buildings in Singapore are all 919 feet tall? I knew that, but I didn't know it was because that is their height limit because of an airbase near by. They are still considered to have one of the best skylines in the world, so at least we can have supertalls here in Miami, though just barely. Don't worry! Be happy!

I just wanted to say hello to you guys in Miami. I've been lurking this subforum and like how you guys get down. Healthy debate without a lot of the vitriol that can appear in other sections here.

Meanwhile, I am actually moving to Miami on March 1st and will probably be in here asking a lot of questions. Please forgive me in advance if some of them are stupid. Oh and btw, it was a drive through Opa Locka that made me fall in love with SE FL.

I'm familiar with the place due to the airport, but have also been paying attention here.

Q, does the helicopter pilot you went with also take the photographs for the Marlins of the new stadium? The photos on the website are credited with "Aerial Photography, Inc." Just wondering of it's the same company.

Here are the aerial photos: http://miami.marlins.mlb.com/photos/...86300&c_id=mia

I really like that first one with the skyline as a backdrop except for the position of the sun. No, my helicopter pilot was actually taking lessons with an instructor and invited me along. I didn't know that would be the case on my first helicopter ride. One definitely had to be brave.
