Why would you want a shower that ia also an elevator? Where are you going all wet and naked covered in suds? Some girl's unit?

Pretty sure if you own that penthouse you dont need to take any elevator to "some girl's unit," they will come to you.

How come you're questioning by elevator shower idea, but Porsche's car elevator didn't get this level of scrutiny? You need to think outside the box, Quantum. Think of me as the next Porsche. I promise you, in ten years, you'll wonder how you ever lived without your elevator shower. Facebook is going to buy this idea for a billion dollars.

Going up and down a buiding in a glass shower stall naked? I'd rather not, but if you're going to have an glass elevator shower, you might as well have it on the outside of the building.

The Air Show returns to Ft. Lauderdale after a five-year hiatus. Great event for anyone who's never seen it.

Good article about 1 World Trade Center in today's New York Times. It is slated to surpass the Empire State Building in height tomorrow and become NYC's new tallest.

Figured you guys would appreciate that I mentioned Opa-Locka (and threw in a picture of city hall) on a message board centered around my old Philly neighborhood that I frequent. I'm sure they're perplexed.
Just doing my part for Ali Baba Boulevard!

Philly must be really jealous of Opa-Locka. Their City Hall is unexciting by comparison. Just some dude on top? Where are all the minarets?

Unbeknownst to all but the most particular Philadelphia historians, the original plans for city hall were designed in the style of traditional Quaker architecture, which included gold domes, towering minarets, ridiculous proportions, and countless other features reminiscent of what you build with Lego blocks that are left over after you’ve built the store-bought model.
Sad really. In another world, Philadelphia could have been Opa-Locka. |

It's unbelievable the city still has this "William Penn" guy (whoever the hell he was) standing atop city hall despite my long campaign to replace him with Saladin the Great.
I need to get some Opa-Locka folks up here to exroll the virtues and benefits of having an Arabian Nights-themed city hall.

Soooo.....I decided to do the Art Walk yesterday. I'd been to Wynwood as a kid and then a young teen with my parents quite frequently, but not much since I moved away and came back to Miami. Got there at 7 PM with some friends, found a parking lot (10 bucks but it was safe) and headed down the block to NW 2nd Ave. We left around 11 PM, after having hit up every single gallery between 22nd and 27th Street. Also passed by the Wynwood Walls, quite interesting photo shoot that they were doing at the time:
![]() Eventually I'll post some of the pictures up on the Wynwood thread, but I'm veggin' out watching TV today and I'm being lazy as hell lol. PS: I've driven thru the area on other Art Walk nights and found yesterday's selection of food trucks to be smaller than previous times. I saw no more than 9 trucks in the entire neighborhood, when in the past I've seen up to 15. |

I wouldn't exactly call it a "masterpiece" and a "lost classic" like the comments say but still:
