I wonder if this really is the case in the end. Sure, people have a lot of money in MC, but paying that amount per month? We're talking 2,4 million per year!
In a place designed for long-term rental.

I'd either negotiate the price (in exchange foraseveral year long contract) or buy it.
That would probably be very expensive, but then you'd own it.

Ehm, Larvotto Beach? Follow the street in the picture and you have a great beach; both public and private.

Also, Monaco dirty? Since when?
Well, if you like 70s architecture I suppose the castle isn't your cup of tea.
Maybe he only went to the French side...

On this picture you can see the new hospital (under construction) in the backround and some other new buildings below the Jardin Exotique:

I also found a website where you can watch a lot of places in monaco from quite new photo spheres, enjoy it! You can start from this place, a street where a lot of new buildings have been built: http://www.monaco360.net/vt/PLACCOND/

You can watch the new street on google too:

Have a nice weekend!
Thank you, do you know the website of the developments or the developers?

Does anyone know what the building above the Yacht Club and nest to the Thermes Marines is?
It's built into the mountain; but it is brown, 70s and really ugly.
Left of the Thermes Marines there is a similair thing, but it's yellow stone and blend in with TM. The brown thing just looks out of place.

Anyone have a clue?

Yes, if you drive past it on google maps you can look through the windows and inside you can find office tables. So I think it's an office, but of course, the building look likes it's from hell.. Especially if you look close...

Im curious; When they tear down a apartment building, such as the Palais de la Plage; do they buy everybodys apartment?
If it's only rentals it shouldn't be a problem (just don't renew the contract), but if people own the apartments; that must cost enormously amounts of money.

Yes, and that's the reason why the huge 70s buildings are still left.

Sad. They should make a deal of some sort with the owners that they get a new apartment in the new building, but make the new one more space efficient.
They really bring down Larvotto; it could look so much better.

Six more villas to bite the dust

MONACO: Six more villas in the Condamine district are to be razed to make way for a modernistic quadruple building, a project that last night received the approval of the city council. In place of the villas at the junction of rue des Agaves and Augustin Vento, the new complex will house offices, homes, a business, and a new villa...

Of the 100 new apartments, 90 will be two-roomed, nine three-roomed and one six-roomed. The two main blocks will be interconnected by walkways on every second floor.

The project, called 'Stella,' has been designed by architects Alexandre Giraldi and Jean-Pierre Lott. Work is expected to start within the next few months and last three years.

Hmmm this property looks to be situated right beside Jimmy's night club where all young locals come to party. Not the best location. Looks like someone sticked it in that part of Monaco just for the location status, so they could sell it for a fortune. Let alone that is just very last part of Monaco. (Larvotto)

The yellow villa above is simply amazing, used to live just next to it :/ It's a shame they want to tear it down!
