Could anyone share information about the Ritz Carlton Bangalore how far are they away from the opening?
Where are updated pictures of the project?
Should have been opened in 2010 first quarter however I heard in 2011 now.
Any update would be great.

Well i didn't count the exact number of floors but the structure looked complete the last time i saw it(10 days back)

Just need to wait for cladding and fit-outs.

Thank you for the up date. Normally when the scaffolding is down it takes another 9 month to open the doors.

Lets see what will happen.

Sheraton Bangalore opening next year

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts said Bangalore will be its entry point in India with its first property set to open in the first quarter of 2011. The 230-room premium hotel, Sheraton Bangalore, is coming up at Brigade Gateway, a 40-acre lifestyle enclave in the Malleswaram-Rajajinagar area in north Bangalore. This will be its first project to be built as well as managed in the country and aimed at business and leisure travellers, a release said. The release cited Mr Martin Wuethrich, General Manager, Sheraton Bangalore at Brigade Gateway, as saying, “The ever burgeoning Indian economy is testimony that premium leisure and business travellers from global destinations are coming to India.” – Our Bureau

The 250-room Conrad Bangalore will be located in the emerging suburb of Indiranagar, a developing Asian IT hub for numerous international firms. Only 25 miles from the Bangalore International Airport and less than five miles from the Bangalore city center, the Conrad Bangalore will offer three restaurants, lobby lounge, executive lounge, specialty bar, ballroom, multiple meeting rooms, health club, spa, swimming pool and business center.

that's a strange location they chose a taj. wonder it would have any takers. i was travelling to tumkur otherday and passed this location. it looked very industrial with many warehouses. it was very messy with lots of constructions & heavy traffic.

also, except for that brigade gateway, malleswaram/rajaji nagar areas looked frozen in time.

I am interested to know all the 4 and 5 star hotel properties that are already there and also the ones that are coming up in the city.

Can we put a table for the same in this thread and lock it so that it appears on the top always. It will be really very very useful.

Not really a strange location, Peenya is a big industrial area and will have business visitors. Also the 'mess' and traffic is due to metro construction. The metro will provide great connectivity to the area when completed.

Malleswaram/Rajajinagar are residential areas. Don't expect huge changes.

Movenpick Hotel & Spa Bangalore is slated to open in the first quarter of 2011, all part of the chain’s expansion in the Asia-Pacific region, which has not been its traditional stronghold. This will be its first property in the subcontinent.

The hotel will have 182 rooms and three restaurants and a bar and is located in Gokula extension -off BEL circle. Once open, this will be the closest five star hotel to BIAL.

Nov. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Inc. said it plans to add six hotels under its Swissotel brand in India in the next five years to tap the growing demand for business travel in the country.

The operator of hotels including London’s Savoy plans to open two of the Indian properties in 2013 in Gurgaon near New Dehli and Bangalore, said Aiden McAuley, vice president of Asia- Pacific region for Swissotel Hotels & Resorts. The chain’s properties in the region make up half of the Canadian company’s revenue from that brand, he said in an interview in Mumbai today.
