The F3-M2 link is years if not decades away.

Damn!!!!!!!! i did read somewhere that labor is supporting it and its a possibitlity that they'll have a F3 to M2 link by 2021. but i wouldnt keep my hopes up. though if there not going to do the F3 to M2 link soon i hope that within a few years they get the F3 to raymond terrace done

construction of the titenbar to ewingsdale upgrade is due to start late this year (2011) and be completed by the end of 2014.

For such a short section of the upgrade the Banora Point upgrade is sure getting a lot of coverage here.

Appreciate Lowey's work as 'chief photographer' on the Banora Pt project.

As for the Tintenbar to Ewingsdale project, it was delayed due to a disgraceful NSW Government 'mini-budget' that saw it and at least 2 other Pacific Highway projects (Banora Pt was one of them I'm pretty sure) delayed indefinitely.

Fortunately, they have seen the light on this, but not after vital time was lost. Tintenbar to Ewingsdale was supposed to be completed before or at the time the Ballina Bypass (also scaled back at its southern end) at the southern end of the project was completed.
