Take a look here, already built and sold. It is tooooo Disney like. They have imitated the Bosphous and its Mansions.

A huge project-I think we have know three artifical Bosphorus comunities. This one from the suburbs of Istanbul plus Bursa and Gaziantep. Woluld not like to live there, maybe in the Waterfront Mansions but they are tooooo far away from the City:http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showth...=635053&page=3

Yeah that's awful. However the old school houses on the previous page are quite gorgeous.

Would you guys be interested in photos of a neo-jugendstil community recently built in the Dutch town of Voorschoten?

These are some examples from 2011 (wikipedia)

People, please try to avoid to turn this into a postmodern kitsch collection and look for the classiest material you can possibly get! We now have this thread for the eekier and postmodern stuff. Thanks.

Let me remind you all of this thread's intro:

Btw, I added swathes of neo-traditional architects to this article:

New Classical Architecture

Feel free to contribute there as well, it's a vital Wiki topic!

If you have an hour and a half to spare, here is a great lecture about the growing trend of new traditional classical architecture given by Christine Franck.

Sure thing ! But sadly the neo historic architecture of iran has been crushed due to lack of regulation, support and the general corruption that exists within our construction industry

So much of our neoclassic and victorian and .... buildings and quarters have been lost that its just inbelievable
Some due to an anti-cultural agenda and some due to the fact thag builders want to build and just sell so as a result culture and identity gets crushed and its said for such and ancient country
