That's awesome. However, when I post a picture from Italy, I don't say "This is from Lazio, that is from Paglia. Venetians represent a small percentage of the Republic of Italy" If it is in Italy, then it is Italian. Every country has minorities, different regions, cultural differences in itself. We have over 120 group of minorities in Turkey! I am of Greek descent but when I meet people, I say that I am Turkish. I don't say I am Greek because I am a part of Turkey regardless of my ethnic background. Eastern Turkey looks like the Middle East. Western and Southern Turkey looks like Greece and Italy. Northern Turkey looks like Macedonia/FYROM. Northwestern Turkey looks like Bulgaria. But when I post a picture from Turkey, it represents Turkey regardless of its ethnic background. If it is in Turkey, then it is Turkish. If it is in Russia, then it is Russian. You might like the Turkish architecture in western Turkey and dislike it in eastern Turkey but it doesn't change the fact that both are parts of the Turkish culture and its architecture.

Same goes for all countries. For example, southern France is entirely different compared to northern France but both are French. Californian architecture is completely different than New York's but both are American. Seville was built by Moorish people but today it is in Spain. No one says it is not Spanish. It is in Spain, so it is a part of the Spanish culture even though Seville looks nothing like Madrid.

I hope you understand where I am coming from..

I understand You. However, You do not understand the internal structure of the Russian Federation. Unlike the above-mentioned countries, Russia is not a unitary state. More than 100 peoples have preserved not only the national identity, but have their own state formations and retain their state language, religion and culture. The Russian people never force suppressed small ethnic groups, has not pursued a colonial policy and apartheid. Obviously, this is the secret of a unique state - as a continent.
