Great example, Hed Kandi! I love Chapman Hall's symmetry, roof overhang, and good proportions. I wonder if the chimneys serve any purpose besides decoration. It would be better if the arched entranced was better defined and there were a few more embellishments like lamps by the entrance and words or symbols above the entrance or on the entablature.

Supreme Court Historical Society - Washington, DC, USA

'The headquarters of the Supreme Court Historical Society is located on East Capitol Street in a historic district. The Society asked for a design that was not merely sensitive to the historic context of the site but was firmly rooted in the classical tradition exemplified by the Supreme Court.'

I love that townhouse of the Supreme Court Historical Society, inside and out! Allan Greenberg has many classical projects on their website. They even designed some buildings at one of my favorite university campuses: Rice University in Houston, Texas.

Humanities Building at Rice University (2000)

Dupont Hall at the University of Delaware (2002) appears to be a science lab building. It's one of the finest examples of modern classical architecture on a university campus I've seen.

The Wallis Annenberg Hall at the University of Southern California (USC) is nearly complete. It's in the Collegiate Gothic style.

We've had this discussion here before, and belatedly I stumbled upon this today:

Quote:
I'm an architect, and I've designed buildings all over the world. Every time I get a commission in an emerging market, I get excited about the opportunity to draw from the country's heritage, culture, and art. But the client never wants it. They all want the same thing: 'modern style, modern style, modern style.' Everything has to be high and glassy. It's almost as if everyone wants to hide their differences. It's boring.
