New office/department store in Czech republic "Palác ZDAR". Finished 2009. Reminds very much of interwar architecture. Maybe not "classic" but a better half of modernism!

Very nice. Totally accurate of early 1930s modernism, especially with the clock

See my post from October 29. This is not good. This is a poor copy of McKim Mead & White's Columbia Low Library. There are poor alignments with the walls, entablature and pilasters, where portions of the upper facade are too far out from what is down below. I circled one instance where it is most visible when viewing the corner at an oblique angle. The most novice classicist architect knows how to handle this detail. This is amateur work and it shows. In addition, the columns and pilasters have been elongated to accommodate 4 stories instead of 2, and the entablature is now too small for the building.

Nope, not really. They use really cheap materials. Just like the most of other Eastern European countries. No just no. Now go to the Turkuaz cafe and order a Turkish coffee please.

still better then your governments ex-commie style TOKI blocks with much worser quality and aestethics build on every corner...

does that architecture fit there? yes, even if its bad quality
