This building was already shown here quite a while ago without correct name or any details. It took for me some time to find out the location. Now I would like to add more info and photos:

Sri Shakti Dhevasthanam Hindu Temple, Bukit Rotan, Malaysia.

Completed 2013. Located: Jalan Kelab, Bukit Rotan, 3°18'31.55"N 101°18'59.41"E

Architect(s) still unknow, but official site says this temple was built "according to our ancient Sirpa Aagamas (architectural scriptures)". So it could be named traditional architecture without any doubt.

And now the photos:

All photos by sk ho form panoramio.

I recently visited Charleston and this building is coming right along. It might interest people to know this started out as a very bland 1970's building. It is not entirely a new construction but is a remodel.

This is our brand new project. It is a mixed-use complex going to be built in Eskisehir, Turkey, starting from April 2015. The building is composed to have 24 residential and 4 double story commercial units.

The project is nowhere near being finished. It has a lot to work on. I just wanted to share a few work in progress shots with you guys. Cheers.

I did a sketch that I posted on November 12 that shows how architectural elements are suppose to align, which you should look at and study.

Also, note that the entablature, which spans across the columns consists of three distinct parts, the architrave, the frieze and the cornice. The architrave is a beam, which has little decoration on it except for sometimes two or three fascia bands that can be separated by small decorative mouldings. The frieze sits above the architrave and is often the most ornamental component. The architrave also includes a small ornamental band that separates it from the frieze. Above the frieze is the cornice, which is the portion that projects out. Part of the cornice has a rectangular profile with a soffit and vertical face called the corona. Below the soffit are small equally spaced brackets called modillions. Below the modillions is a bed moulding which could be broken into three parts, two moulding profiles with a dentil band in between the two. At the very top of the cornice, at the top of the vertical face of the corona is a cap moulding that has a thin edge at the top.

Looking at this building, the entablature has none of the components that I describe. But most problematic is that the whole thing projects over the edge of the column capitals rather than aligning with the shaft of the columns. Also, the corner columns where the curved entablature meets the straight segment is not well resolved.

It's not about architecture exactly but from that viewpoint Aliev's statue looks like it's stuck between columns. Not a good impression. The monument should be larger (wider?) or placed closer.
(not to mention that the monument itself is horribly primitive, like a tin soldier)
