Here's a video on Robert AM Stern discussing 15 CPW and traditionalism/contextualism:

It fits perfectly well with these buildings, which are actually from the 1930s.

If you think streamline-moderne isn't a historic style, you're deluding yourself. Nobody builds it anymore except for the odd revivalism here and there.
Sorry, If I may reiterate my point,or rather summarize it, I just find it to be awfuly boring, and don't think it belongs in the same "historic" level as let's say Victorian, or Beaux arts architecture for that matter. Yes it's old, but I don't think that means that it is of historical quality. Honestly recently, I'm tired of all of this crap about how brutal ism, and mid century modern (as well as other soulless boring post 1920s styles) deserve to be put under the same level as those buildings with actual historical value. Lastly, It's still modernism, which belongs in the other 10 billion sections of skyscraper city.

New traditional swedish porch attached to a house by traditional architect Albert Svensson. Built sometime in the 2000s.

I'm tired of classicists claiming they know so much about architecture, and what objectively makes it good, then they make comments like this. Don't dismiss an entire era of architecture as having no historic value! It looks ignorant and uncultured.

Unfortunately Australia doesn't seem to follow traditional archiecture as much as Europe, America and Canada.

Here are some examples of the Highland huts that have been reconstructed.

Geehi Hut (Rebuilt after 2002 fires)

Broken Dam Hut (Rebuilt in 2008 after fires)

Walhalla Star Hotel (Destroyed by fire in 1951 - Rebuilt 1999)

London, Hyde Park Barracks, Soon (fingers crossed)

(I have tried to include a link to the original image, however it appears I haven't posted enough to be allowed that privelege. The image is taken from the Quinlan and Frances Terry practice facebook page)

I realise it doesn't quite fit in the thread, for the simple reason that it hasn't been built. But I feel the UK hasn't really been able to keep it's end up, as most of out traditional new builds are fairly small scale, whereas this would be something pretty monumental - it's 10 stories.

For my taste, Terry never offends the eye (sadly, a rarity these days) but is usually too understated to really get the blood racing. This elevation is a bit more like it. A bit of a departure from his usually relentless classicism, I reckon London could stand a bit of Haussmann on steroids. It's far from a done deal, and I anticipate that modernist architects will protest very strongly, but I actually have a tiny glow of hope.

We don't have to value it if we don't want to.

And we're neotraditionalists.
