Beautiful examples... although I should say putting a flag pole directly in front of a door kind of spoils the ease of movement from and to the inside. However, the building is beautifully crafted

I'm sure these buildings will become landmarks in their communities in no time.

EDIT: I dislike that it has, a usual, a horrid parking lot in front. It would be much better if it was right next to the street.

In the rich Detroit Suburb of Grosse Pointe there was an addition added onto their 1950s style bland
library. It was added at the corner of 2 major thoroughfares. Although it has modern elements, it also
has a kind of Elizabethan/Tudor styling to it, as well as some French "Bulls Eyes", but with a modern
twist. And it's made of quality materials. It is a synthesis of old and new that somehow is kind of nice.

Comments?

A little too "modern".

Terrific buildings. As usual U.S. architects lead the way in know-how of building in traditional styles, their proportions and ornament absolutely correct. There are far too many "traditional" style new builds, particularly in the former Soviet Union countries that are absolute hash-ups and perfect targets for so called "modernists" to lambast.

Let me say: so called "traditional" architecture, if well done, will be always good and important for modern society, because "historism" has nothing to do with simple considered "modernity" of "modernism".

The Four Seasons has a very Beaux-Arts look about it, not too kitchy like so many new builds in former Soviet Union Republics.
