Agreed. I'm in love as well. Berlin should be paved with such buildings!

Marvellous building. Thank God we still have some authentic architects out there.

Much, much better stuff than some of the previous kitschy monsters!

I don't know much about Georgian vernacular, but these clearly are created with a love for detail and proper materials.

Millennium Tower, St. Edmundsbury Cathedral - Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, UK
Built 2005

This is a completely new addition, not a rebuild. The craftsmanship is to a level of perfection so rarely seen that had I not discovered it to be newly constructed, I would have believed this tower to have stood upon this site for centuries.

I would like to have a few examples from Philippines added, so please feel free to post in the above thread.

Thanks in advance!

*Photo: The Coconut Palace, Manila, Philippines* Source: Wiki.
Constructed in 1978.
Although much bigger in scale, it remains faithful to Traditional Filipino House Design

Here is an authentic Filipino House (from 1500 to 1800). Compare :

In fact, the authentic is "more fake".
They added Metal Window Grills, and painted the wooden columns with wrong color.

This is turning out really good, like it's been standing there for a century and nothing else would belong there! This is what architecture should be able to achieve in such a surrounding.

NEW YORK | 1110 Park Ave. | 209ft | 19 fl | T/O
