Very nice. I'm a fan of Dutch and Belgian architecture and its various offshoots like Cape Dutch architecture.

The Prince's Foundation and Oxford University have partnered to deliver a MSc in Sustainable Urban Development.

I'm not sure of how contextually Classical the program is, but more information can be found at:

Feel free to speak English with Austrians and Germans at DWF Kandi, we're almost all somewhat fluent.

Btw, this is the equivalent "global" thread for New Classical at the German-speaking forum: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1704646

And this is the original 2008 thread for both reconstructions and New traditional-style buildings for Germany: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showth...konstruktionen

Might also fit in this thread:
Friedrichsbrücke in Berlin, completely built anew in traditional architecture style. It's not a reconstruction, as the middle part is a completely new design and only the four obelisks are original, though modernized with modern sphere lamps.

I always believed that the former Spanish colonies in today's US should either have their own architectural style or should continue the Spanish colonial traditions. North-Eastern like structures in cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco always struck me as out of place. With that being said I have a lot of appreciation for Santa Barbara's approach in that matter.

I agree with you on this one. The whole porticus is quite off as well. Especially being called Heritage Center/Bank, they should have approached the building design with more dignity. It looks like something from a 3rd class commercial park in the middle of nowhere.

To be more precise, it reminds me of a somewhat tacky Greek restaurant in a commercial park not far from where I live in Northern Germany. Well, it might be even somewhat better for having some colours and not-all-that-bad proportions (except the imo foozled frontispiece), check for yourself: Athos Greifswald.

It's a bank probably in some suburban or exurban area of the US.

^ Which buildings are actually new there? It seems to me this is rather about a square redevelopment by itself.

I don't actually know. If it turns out to just be a square redevelopment I may delete it.
