From New York, where far too many traditional buildings are being wiped out, its good to see some new classical buildings on the rise, this is the latest from Roman and Williams on 24th street, its the first teaser rendering, but i'm certain that with the team from JDS behind it, they'll build it beautifully!

And the angle of the render is not showing the triangle shape of the building. If I find more photos, I will post them on this thread.
As I promised...

no, I'm still not seeing it at all.

C'mon guys, this forum used to have a lot of really decent posts on it. now it seems to be mostly stuff that looks like it's out of a theme park, or any suburb in Richmond.

It's a private investor. His company already has built many residential buildings, but so far non of them in neoclassical style.

Yes I agree. Too many "hash ups" which have scant reference to proper traditional architecture.

What's with all the hate for this building? I think it looks quite nice.

Germany will benefit enormously from this approach (though there is some real crap being built as well unfortunately). While these new buildings will stand the test of time the "modernist", usually cheap and nasty stuff, (parts of London are a prime example) but sometimes ridiculously expensive rip offs by the self-styled "starchitects", will be reviled as much as the 70's crap is today and will again be demolished. More waste of resources but typical of our arch-hypocritical age.

Someone who hasn't got an awful lot of money? Not every country can boast an economy as strong as some western countries so it's obvious you don't get the same standard. Considering this, it doesn't look too bad.
