No info, the studio in the link only did the renders. Judging from the Imperial eagles and crowns it was planned to be built by the Russian emigre community after the revolution. I doubt the Russian community in Paris is rich and large enough today.

Russia - Complex "Ethnoworld" (basically the whole place is one giant kitsch museum, except Slavic districts)

District "Museum of Russian Stove"; 2007; Borovsk, Kaluga Region

I think neo-historicism is done well when it is in keeping with the context of the neighborhood. It would be nice to see some of these with photographs of their surroundings as well.

Is this a real project, or are you just doing this for fun ?

It is a real project to be built in Eskisehir, Turkey in front of a river-like water canal. I am still trying to figure out how to imply certain design patterns in our design.

Its great in nearly all its aspects so far. But please!!! Get rid of those awkward canopys at the rooftop corner!!!. It really ruins the otherwise wonderfull design!

Which program do you use?

Thank you for your kind words. I have used only sketch up pro and vray so far. Once I am certain of the concept, I will move the file into Revit for a precise technical drawing. I know a lot of firms still use cad but we, as a firm prefer bim programs.

That canopy thing is a traditional Turkish element based upon the local architecture. There will be some sort of pediment or canopy but I havent started the roof part structure so it is yet to be determined. I will update as it develops.

It's right next to Cary Tamarkin's 508 W. 24th, making that corner look like it stepped out of the 1930s.
