I apologize for my bad english...

There in Mexico, in the state of San Luis Potosi, a surreal place called Las Pozas de Xilitla.
It was built by the British Edward James in 1970 as a Garden of Eden where place the remains of a lost civilization ...

A graphic "style manual" for houses, mansions and family homes for you my friends!
Many of these types aren't exclusively US American, but can be found in many countries around the world
with western-influenced architecture.

Don't know if this has been mentioned, St Johns Anglican Cathedral in Brisbane, Australia. Due to ongoing funding issues, it was only finished about ten years ago in a French Gothic style, and is one of only a handful of buildings in the Southern Hemisphere with a stone-vaulted ceiling.

In this last one you can see the different ages of the cathedral in the lighter coloured recent work of the last 10-15 years on the left of the transept and the darker stonework done around 100 years ago on the right - note the central tower over the crossing is of recent age.

Think that every neo-gothic church and cathedral in any of the "New Worlds" would fit in this discussion: St Paul's in Dunedin, New Zealand. Like St John's in Brisbane, it stalled due to lack of funds, however was never completed to the original plans. About one-third of the gothic building was completed, after which it sat for decades until a compromise of sorts was reached with a brutalist completion in the 60's or 70's. Ugly as sin, and i couldn't bring myself to take any photos of that part of the building when we visited earlier this year.

St Paul's and the Town Hall from the Octogon.

Another of the Southern Hemisphere's few examples of stone vaulted ceilings.

Well, they've met some criticism but as far as I know construction should start in 2018 and it's supposed to be finished in 2020.
