that's fair but doesn't that belong into the vernicular architecture thread instead? It is traditional architecture but not in the european classical sense. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, though.

This thread concerns traditional architectures from all over the world. classical architecture is just a subcategory of traditional architecture.

Some of my favorites from the 2016 Brick in Architecture Awards:

Johns Hopkins University, Malone Hall for the Whiting School of Engineering - Baltimore, Maryland

Gateway Village - University of Richmond - Richmond, Virginia

I love the American university and college campuses! That is exactly how these kinds of institutions should present themselves: Classy, tradition-conscious and homely for the students and academic staff living and teaching there.

Look at the original proposal for an extension at Harvard:

After community, faculty, and student complaints they revised the design to one more traditional and contextual. Administrators and architects fall into the trap of thinking that only Stephen Holls, Frank Gehrys, Thom Maynes, etc. reflect the forward-thinking of their institutions. Unfortunately that type of architecture ends up existing at the expense of the built environment of those institutions, sometimes at the very expense of the institution itself in the case of Cooper Union.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I highly believe the buildings above doesn't respect any rules. For example, the use of the pediment is so wrong!
