^ Do you mean the large one? There is something German / Northern European about it that you don't usually find in Britain. Not least because of the cupreous lantern.

Can you keep the projects within a 25 year time frame?

401 W 14th Street, New York, by COOKFOX (2008)

Officially a renovation, but I was reading they basically had to redesign the building while conserving the facade design and building it all over again because it was too damaged.

It's telling that Apple, the champion of the glass box, has shifted its retail to adapt and reuse pre-war buildings (e.g. in NYC Grand Central Terminal, Soho, UES, Williamsburg). Not unlike Steve Jobs whose homes were traditionalist, revival architecture mansions, maybe they've realized that the architecture just looks better, provides a better contrast with their high-tech products, and remains timeless compared to contemporary architecture.

Since I didn't have the opportunity to properly post this before, here are some images of Kulebo, near Torsås in Sweden. It was built in the nineties and is inspired by local manors built in the 1700s.

I don't think we necessarily need to avoid "duplicates". People post additional pictures and there's various buildings that deserve to be mentioned more than once. Let's not keep users from posting by too rigid rules. It's not like this is an encyclopedic index. Cheers!

Oh, sorry. I only knew about the "search this site" function, and couldn't find anything there. I'll make sure to search the thread in the future

Agree with this, as long as it's not excessive.

Refurbishment of concrete Paris suburb Champs-Philippe. Completed 201x? A bit postmodern but better than modernism!
