They seem somewhat eclectic, but that's precisely what happened since the early 19th century throughout the country.

So it's legit to mix styles like that, and it's not just the architect showing off competency?

^ Certainly 'traditionally' dense with a tad of New Urbanism, but the architecture clearly is postmodern.

The white building is very similar to a lot of the Berlin/German ones you see on this thread.

The similarity being... the color?

Really, this doesn't belong here. Perhaps it would help to change this thread's title and finally apply a devoted mod here again.

^ That's what we need here! Great ambition in reurbanization, too.

375 Avenida Pezet
Lima, Peru
RAMSA

Not quite traditional due to the oversized windows and terraces:

But some details and the mews are traditional:

At the very least it shows the superiority of limestone as a traditional building material.

Here is something a bit more unusual: The fourth tube of the Caldecott tunnel near the Bay Area, CA. It's technically not a building but I hope it gets an exception.

The fourth bore was opened in 2013 and the portals to it try to match the original 1930's Art Deco.

The new bore is on the left. Note that the other portal visible is from the 60's and not very Art Deco-ish. Also note the covered-up spots on the top.

Opening ceremony:

The hidden spots were decorated by design students with these ornaments:

They were also designed to match the 1930's look of the original tunnel:

Sadly, tunnel portals aren't exactly the most photographed objects, so I couldn't find any pictures with the ornaments installed.

Not quite traditional as you say but typical of the high quality you get from RAMSA and I love the use of limestone, beats metal and glass any day! Great "modern" building with a nod to tradition.

About the last one from Moscow, the original building is better.
