Wow, that's really impressive. Looks straight out of the 18th-19th century.

Can we just take a moment to applaud architect Tobias Nöfer, one of (if not the) best neo traditional architects of Berlin? His projects really transform and heal the city.

Tiaren You know from my past posts that I love Mr. Nofer's style.! He brings a little 1930s look to Berlin, That period, like New York, seems like it was the city's heyday.

Nöfer is good but his works are very uneven in aesthetics. Heydt Einz for example doesnt look very nice in reality. But Palais Holler and Friesengut are gems.

The true king is Sebastian Treese that never compromises. His career has on the other hand just started but it looks like it is going to be a good one:

Does anyone know what to call the new classical style of Tobias Nöfer, Sebastian Treese and others? Cause I've been thinking about creating a seperate thread about it, but don't know what to call it

I agree that Treese architects did indeed realize the most accomplished example of neotraditional architecture in Berlin in recent years with the Eisenzahn...

...but let's wait some more time until the architecture studio realized a couple more buildings before crowning them as the new kings. Nöfer and Patzschke (even though the design and quality of their buildings unfortunately has become very mixed lately) are so far the most prominent and successful architects, that drive Berlin's neotraditional architecture movement.

Hey, about you call the thread something like mentioned above?
"Berlin's Neotraditional Architecture Movement"

Well, that might work. But then a lot of the buildings are made in Düsseldorf if I'm not mistaken, so maybe "Germany's Neotraditional Architecture Movement" or "Germany's Neoclassical Architecture Movement". It would be nice to have a name which is not restricted to Germany though, since the style hopefully will spread beyond that eventually.
