The outside looks fine, but the inside looks tacky and sterile. Like the palace of a dictator in some third world country. I suspect the designers for the interior and exterior were different. The inside needs a total re-do in a very conservative modern design.

This building is superb!
For me this is a great example why I support neo-classical/neo-historical architecture. It offers simple and also comfortable living space for its tenants, while at the same time perfectly fits into the surrounding historical neighborhood.

The exterior of the New York house is very nice, interior not so much. Seems incredibly plain for such an ornate house.
