The University of the East Caloocan Campus (UE-Caloocan) is a private university in Caloocan City, Philippines. The university is one of the two extension campus of the University of the East. An autonomous unit headed by a Chancellor with the College of Business Administration , Arts and Sciences, Engineering, and Fine Arts. UE Caloocan is called Caloocan Campus to distinguish it from the Manila Campus on C.M. Recto Avenue. UE Caloocan is recognized as the "Most Outstanding Educational Institution" in the City of Caloocan.




University of the East Caloocan Campus is a 4.86-hectare lot along Samson Road, Caloocan City. UE Caloocan is one of the largest university campus in the CAMANAVA area. It has a parade ground and the university football field. Caloocan Campus will be the site for the university oval in the near future for athletic events.

Among the University’s most recent infrastructure milestones are the Tan Yan Kee Academic Building which was inaugurated in December 2003. The building is named after the late Tan Yan Kee, the father of UE's Honorary Chairman, Dr. Lucio C. Tan. The Caloocan Campus Colleges of Business Administration, Arts and Sciences, and Fine Arts are housed in the TYK Academic Building. This six-storey edifice, which cost nearly 300 million pesos to make, boasts of high technology and modern finishes, including 54 air-conditioned classrooms, multimedia rooms, computer laboratories, a Gigabit Ethernet system, a parking area, the Benjamin G. Chua Jr. Library in honor of the late UE trustee with the same name, an information kiosk with info-retrieval machines, deans offices, faculty rooms, college offices, student council offices, two elevators, a cafeteria and a helipad.








Engineering Building
The three-storey Engineering Building was inaugurated in 1980. What used to be the technical shops were gradually converted into classrooms for the students of the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Business Administration until November 2003.

The University of the Philippines (or Unibersidad ng Pilipinas in Filipino and commonly abbreviated as U.P.) is the national university of the Philippines. Founded in 1908 through Act No. 1870 of the first Philippine Legislature, known as the "University Act" by authority of the United States, the University currently provides the largest number of degree programs in the country. The University is one of the premier institutions of higher learning in the Philippines. Several Philippine Presidents have attended courses in the University either as undergraduates or as postgraduate students, while 12 chief justices of the Supreme Court, 36 out of the 57 National Artists and 30 out of the 31 National Scientists are affiliated with the University.

The Ateneo de Manila University (also called "Ateneo de Manila" or simply "the Ateneo") is a private university run by the Society of Jesus in the Philippines. It began in 1859 when the City of Manila handed control of the Escuela Municipal de Manila in Intramuros, Manila, to the Jesuits. It was then a state-subsidized school. It became a private school during the American occupation of the Philippines, and has moved from Manila to its current location. It received its university charter in 1959.

Its main campus in Loyola Heights, Quezon City, Metro Manila is home to the university's college and graduate school units, as well as its high school and grade school. Two other campuses, in Rockwell Center and Salcedo Village, both in Makati City, house the university's professional schools of business, law, and government. A fourth facility in the Don Eugenio López, Sr. Medical Complex in Ortigas Center, Pasig City houses its school of medicine and public health.

The Ateneo offers programs in the elementary, secondary, undergraduate, and graduate levels. Its academic offerings include the Arts, Humanities, Business, Law, the Social Sciences, Philosophy, Theology, Medicine and Public Health, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science and Information Technology, Engineering, Environmental Science, and Government. Aside from teaching, the Ateneo de Manila also engages in research and social outreach.

It is one of only two universities in the Philippines to receive Level IV accreditation--the highest possible level—from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) through the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP)and the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU). It received its Level IV accreditation in June 2004. Its grade school and high school have been granted Level III accreditation by PAASCU and FAAP, the highest possible level for basic education. It is one of few universities granted autonomous status by CHED, which likewise recognizes some of the University's programs and departments as Centers of Excellence and Centers of Development.

Among the Ateneo's alumni are José Rizal, the National Hero of the Philippines, several leaders of the propaganda movement during Philippine Revolution against Spain and the Philippine-American War, politicians, political activists, professionals, businessmen, writers, scientists, educators, and artists.

The University's patron saint is Ignatius of Loyola, while María Puríssima is its patroness, as is evident the pontifical name "University of the Immaculate Conception" and in the selection of blue and white as the school's colors. The patron saint of its law school is Thomas More, the high school has Stanislaus Kostka as its patron, and the grade school the Holy Guardian Angels as its patrons.
