A few images I took on Tuesday.

Starting off with an East Midlands Trains class 156 covering for a 158 which is either in for maintenance or refurbishment.

East Midlands Trains 156414 by Mike McNiven, on Flickr

Still not been able to establish why this Tyrers Optare solo was in town on Tuesday, as it's based at their Chorley depot and was doing loops around town

Tyrers SJ54GDE by Mike McNiven, on Flickr

And no collection of transport images is complete without a Metrolink tram, so here is 3064 leaving Exchange Square for Shaw & Crompton taken from a low down "Dirty knee" angle

route familiarity for tram or rail replacement perhaps, iirc they provide some of the buses for rail replacement

Tram is by Stagecoach and it almost seemed to be mimicking the Metroshuttle routes more than anything

Finally at Victoria, not particularly good these as the lighting at Victoria is full of contrasts. The final one I thought was apt.

Thanks WingTips, I like the twilight and evening shots as well. I'll have to try to get out for some more and this time remember my monopod or tripod.

It's due to open with the December 10th 2017 timetable change when I think an initial 1 train per hour each way between Leeds and Victoria via the Calder Valley will be extended to start and terminate at Oxford Road. Delays to other infrastructure projects have resulted in the main restructure of services being put back until May 2018.
