Question: Metrocable is used by people who going home in a suburb or it's for turistic entertenements? I don't understand what is in common with the public transport if it's for tourism. I ask this because, it appear on the metro map, and metro it's public transport! Thanks!
We have in Romania, also a similar sistem. The cabins are identical! but these are for tourism!

friend ,, the problem in medellin is ,, the poor people had to build their homes in public terrain because they had not money to buy a regular house ,, the biggest public terrain areas are in the mountain i all the valley long , , because theese houses are very very up in the mountain ,, there were not public transport so people had to walk milles and milles to arrive their homes ,, it was like climbing a mountain every day

I've seen a reportage on Arte TV (French-Germany). They said that the Metro and MeroCable changed the live of all valley inhabitants.

By the past, people made 1/2 day to go from barrios suberbubs to inner city. Now, they only need 1,5 hour.

They installed an art center in a barrio, and the area was totally changed, and violence dissapear.
