kenguy i can see Mombasa and Kampala are really growing in terms of shopping mall crazy culture though still behind compared to Nairobi.i think this is a sign of middle class growing generally how many malls are there in Kampala

yeah UG BOY u r right, kampala city is a commercial city, it has many shops more than even Nairobi has, the shopping malls which desert burner is saying r owned by Kenyans , he doesnot know what he is talking about, Our politicians pass through these Asian Kenyans to build these malls since they dont want to be called embezzlers of Ugandan money, now take a look at Garden city, its is the first ladyz mall but they say its an Asian kenyan joint venture with Ugandan proprietor whom we dont know, and Oasis mall they say its Aminaz mall yet the papers once searched about her wealth and it was unknown.
Nairobi is an industrial city and a wholesale center with good economic climate more than Uganda and with alot of Asian penetration who know what business is, whereas Kampala is a blackman business city.

kampala has around 20 to 25 malls and many new ones are under construction everday alwell. kabalanga, kakungulu,oasis,ovino,nakareso,silver city, mazaima,tuskys,nakumatt. out of the nine new malls i could find under construction only two are kenyan. there are plenty more malls underconstruction but cant remember those were off the top of my head.

25? Maybe you can clarify it for me. Maybe you also need to look at who owns the Ovino, Oasis, Mazima and Kabalagala malls. Anyway, whats the point on arguing about who owns what? I'd prefer to just stick to focusing on developments instead. You are right, Kampala is growing.

i said 20 to 25 and ill try to get pics to sow off the others its difficult for some. maybe biased at 25 i would say 20 anyway ill try to get some posted. now people should stop comparing kampala and nairobi. they are both gd cities that growing quickly . end of story


desert burner you facts are wrong. nairobi has around 30 to 35 malls .it does have more than kampala but kampala is not far behind. it has about 25 to 30. im listing some kampala malls now count them . i have personally been to about 20 of them. count them.
