the kampala expansion programme
this is the largest project in uganda at the moment it will last around 20 years.
most projects concerning the main city are part of this .
the transport programmes to fix junctions,add a bus plan, construct 4 bypasses and 6 flyovers. the industrial estates namanve estate,bwogere industrial estae and luzira industrial estate to create 100,000 jobs in the city. 11,000 homes construction seperate from every estate ive posted for the expansion. the expansion of the kampala water treatment plant. the expansion of the electircal cables. and expansion fo electricity.
the plan will join wakiso, greater kampala,enetebbe,kira and mukono to form one city. the porgramme will give people living mukono and wakiso beter signals more jobs and a better life.

this project will promote baseball in uganda. this projects will consist of 3 softball pitches 3 baseball pitches a small 5000 seater stadium with tracks and football facilities. and indoor traing facilities.

the park will have several rides around 25 to be exact. it will have one big mall and sevral cafes. one big canopy for perfromancies, a small pond and resteraunts. with parking.

as you should know rvr railways in kenya and uganda is upgrading with 90 million dollars to do it heres the new trains in kampala 4 new ones so far.

Uganda: Issuing of Road Contracts

The Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) has given out 80 contracts for the 2010/2011 financial year. The work mainly involves contracting road maintenance work to private entities according to an official from UNRA. The association has issued more than 80 contracts for the 2010. An estimated US$500 million is the total amount set aside for the road works.img

Some of the ongoing road maintenance works include resealing of 400km of national roads like the Lira-Kamdini-Kawith road and the Kampala-Mukono and Kampala-Kawempe (23.3km), Masaka-Kyotera (38.3km) and Mbarara-Ishaka (58.8km.

Tarmacking and rehabilitation of the Fort Portal-Bundibugyo- Lamia (104km), Mbarara-Kikagati (70km), the Gulu- Atiak-Bibia-Nimule (150km), Mukono-Jinja (85km), Tororo- Mbale- Soroti (156km) commence June 2010.

The 72km Jinja- Bugiri road forming the northern corridor route linking Uganda to the sea is complete and ready to be handed over to UNRA by Reynolds Construction Company. Other roads that will be completed in 2010 include Masaka- Mbarara (154kms), Matugga- Ssemuto- Kapeeka (41kms), Kampala- Mityana (57kms) and Kampala- Gayaza- Zirobwe roads.
