Şuşa



Şuşa was founded in 1751 by Panah Ali khan in order to secure himself and his newly-established khanate from external threats, and especially from the invasions from Iran, he needed to build a new more reliable castle.

According to Mirza Jamal Javanshir Karabagi (1773-1853), the author of Karabakh-nameh (History of Karabakh), one of the most significant chronicles on the history of Karabakh in 18-19th centuries, the Karabakh nobility assembled to discuss the danger of invasion from Iran and told Panah Ali khan, "We must build among the impassable mountains such an inviolable and inaccessible fort, so that no strong enemy could take it."

İsveçrəli jurnalist Andre Vidmer ölkəsinin “Voxensaytunq” (Wochenzeitung) qəzetində Dağlıq Qarabağa səfər qeydlərini dərc etdirib. Sürixdə yaşayan azərbaycanlı jurnalist Elxan Həsənli “Media forum”a bildirib ki, Dağlıq Qarabağı gələcəyi olmayan ərazi kimi xarakterizə edən Andre Vidmer işğal faktını obyektivliklə qələmə alıb: “O, avqust ayında Azərbaycanda olub qaçqınların durumunu öyrənib. Bu haqda yazısını da yaxınlarda çapa verəcək”.

“Media forum” saytı isveçrəli jurnalistin 3 ay öncə Şuşada çəkdiyi şəkilləri oxucuların diqqətinə çatdırır.

ABŞ-da Şuşaya həsr olunan marka buraxılıb



Marka Şuşanın 1751-ci ildə əsasının qoyulmasına həsr edilib
ABŞ-da Şuşaya həsr olunmuş poçt markası buraxılıb. Milad bayramı ərəfəsində ABŞ Poçt Xidməti tərəfindən buraxılmış bayram markalarından biri 1751-ci ildə Pənahəli xan Cavanşir tərəfindən Şuşanın əsasının qoyulmasına həsr edilib.
Bu, Azərbaycanın tarixi şəhəri olan Şuşaya həsr olunmuş ilk ABŞ poçt markasıdır.
ABŞ Poçt Xidməti buraxılmış markanın çox populyar olduğunu bildirib. Bayram günlərində markanın qiyməti 18.95 dollar olub, onun adi qiyməti isə 4,5 dollara yaxındır. Poçt Xidmətinin rəsmisi APA-nın Vaşinqtondakı müxbirinə bildirib ki, marka amerikalı azərbaycanlılar tərəfindən hazırlanıb, amma onun alıcıları arasında başqa millətlərin nümayəndələri də çoxdur.

My grand father was born in Shusha , when he was 6 years old his family had to escape with the other Armenians that lived there, that was around 1920s.

Come on enough to lie your grandfather was living in Baku your grandmother was living in Ganja and now your grandfather was living in Shusha.

I dont know about you but people usually have a father and a mother, hence 2 grandfathers and 2 grandmothers. One of my granddads was born in Shusha.

I know exactly my grand fathers and grandmothers are from Baku. You are bustard you do not know where exactly your grandmothers and grand fathers were from.
