These people have modelled Manchester in 3D I believe, but you have to pay for it: http://www.t3d.co.uk/

Would you be so kind enough to do one of The Willows, Salford before it gets demolished when Salford Reds move to Barton please? Here are some pics. http://www.salford.ac.uk/news/images...f3b3b585de.jpg http://reds.originalreddevils.com/wp..._banner300.jpg http://www.salfordmusic.com/images/willows.jpg http://mw2.google.com/mw-panoramio/p...um/8929384.jpg |

OK, so the Google Maps satellite/aerial images have been updated for the area around Trafford Park and south Manchester at least. Anyone care to guess a date for the imaging?
Some clues: Elsinore Road past the new depot is closed, so after May 18th last year. Business car parks are occupied, so it's a weekday. Likewise, there are children at school, so it's no the holidays. The Point @ LCCC has foundations and nothing else. Trees are green, so my guess is some time in September. Andrew |

I'm pretty sure it gives you the exact date on Google Earth if anyone has it.

You're welcome !!
Just to give you an update;I was very disappointed to find out that Google declined my City Tower !!! It must've been something to do with it being built on top of another model (the one that looked awful). When I get a bit of time i'll send them an email asking them if they could reconsider and i'll give them the reasons as to why it's on top of another model ![]() As I expected, they declined the Inacity Tower. a) It's not even there yet, so it doesn't exist b) when I was looking at it recently on Google Earth, I saw that it was way too big (at least a third larger than the Beetham) and it should be round about the same height of the Beetham - right ? Anyway I did a quick model of the Millennium Tower in Salford Quays. I only built it on Thursday so Google havn't yet reviewed it; http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehou...1db8b9a73bad86 |

Hey people !! I thought i'd share this with you;
I have told Google about the model which is on the City Tower site on Google Earth; (said how it doesn't bear any resemblance to what the tower really looks like) and they said they would remove the model which is there at the moment, and re-consider my model (the link is above )
