Progress Hard to see from street level unless one is up and look from KL Tower. Don't you think the mall will be almost the same like BTS?

Suck is the name of the game here. If they want to make it different they have to start for the very beginning. They should build a totally different concept or rendering rather than following closely to what Times Square look alike now. I cannot see any justification why the have to build another similar building. KL dont need have an exact copy of another building. So like no originality. I know they want to use that words "BERJAYA CENTRAL PARK"...but then...what is so berjaya about it.

If I happen to be the owner, then I will make sure the building will look different.

the name it still OK, IMO but i really hate the fact that it is a clone of BTS.

maybe berjaya like same design buildings like menara axis and menara milennium

From what I've read......This would be a 5-level mall that would target at high-spending customers (like Starhill & Lot 10). BTS is now like a very big version of Sg. Wang IMO .......but still lack the enigmatic, exoticism and charm of Sg. Wang

hahaha......I think Vincent Tan got bitten by the New York bug thus naming all his projects after NYC's famous locations. And I think he really like the BTS architect's work

I know it is a bit silly lah to have nearly an identical design here but I am not complaining cos get to have a TWIN set of 40+ storeys building

No doubt about that... BTS seems very bland and a little too big for my liking, Sg. Wang is much better and down-to-earth...

Central Park should be a good addition to that area... A nice complement to the KLCC further down the road...

Btw, any news about the Grand Hyatt project across the Central Park?

Got this pic from the monorail station:


There's a lot of activity there. On the far side, there is already quite big a hole, although you can't see it on this pic. They are also setting a showroom with a model of the building, which appears to be white and not orange. I couldn't get close enough to take a pic 'cause the showroom is not opened yet.
