Just stumbled upon this thread.. Yes, finally the mystery behind the construction has been solved! Glad to know it's another tall one.. Yes!! However, disappointed to see it looks like a Times Sq replica. I think Berjaya wanted to save money on design/architectural fees in merely adapting the BTS facade and design..

I'm just worried that the monorail system is gonna get overstretched in terms of capacity when the project is finally ready.

Any news on what's happening to the abandoned Grand Hyatt which is just diagonally opposite that junction?

Eh...did anyone see the huge notice board at the end of the intersection between Jalan Ampang and Jalan Sultan Ismail. A huge huge rendering of Central Park.

Damn big and I have to say that I prefer this building 10 times than Times Square

The night rendering make the whole building look thinner and slim.

I donno how to say la Baq. Twice I passed that area on the way to office and twice I was driving my car, so cannot have a clear look of it.

Then proceed to the "Showcase Highlights" at the bottom at the page and click on Berjaya Central Park. There you'll find the new rendering under "artist impression".
