Sorta mall related

Enter the Cinemax

Quote:
KOCHI: The recliner seat says it all about the luxurious comfort that multiplexes offer. And movie experience will not be the same for Kochiites anymore as the first ever multiplex of Kerala was opened at the Oberon Mall in the city on Friday.
Set up by Cinemax, one of the largest multiplex chains in India, the multiplex started screening movies for the public from Friday.
The multiplex has the Cinemax-benchmarked technology, cosy lighting, digital dynamic surround sound system, making each movie-watching experience unique in its own right. It hosts a total of 634 seats with four screens.
Screen - 1 can accommodate 158 patrons, Screen-2 has 117 seats, Screen-3 can seat 168 and Screen-4 has a seating capacity of 177.
The multiplex also hosts 14 recliner seats where patrons can sink into their cosy sofas that recline up to 150 degrees and enjoy a personalised cafe service while enjoying their favourite movie.
The side tables can be laden with popcorn, cakes, coke glasses and water bottles which obviously take your movie watching experience to an altogether different level.
Currently, Thanthonni, Hollywood biggie Clash of the Titans, Bollywood movies Tum Milo Toh Sahi, LSD and Tamil movies, Vinnaithandi Varuvaya and Paiyya, are being screened at Cinemax Kochi.
Cinemax is one of the largest exhibition theatre chains in India operating 29 properties with 94 screens in leading cities.

Stupendous!

I passed through the highway in front last year and the footprint of the building is colossal. I mean COLOSSAL! There were plans for another 2 million sq ft mall near to it in Kalamassery but I think now the developers of that project will be doing their maths all over again because this one is going to suck in people from all over Kerala. LULU is a household name in Kerala because of the Gulf chord and there is no need to build the brand. Thanks to Yousafali...

No way any one more new mall can survive once lulu is thru , already we have Unitech and Forum in pipeline ,
One more Mall will be quite difficult and I am sure Promoters of Kalamassery project will rethink ....

what a massive structure it is , quite imposinggg...

It will really Kill competition ...
