Yes. This is the initial time table. It will be adjusted like Shanghai Jinshan Rail (line 22) with traffic going up.

Please keep in mind that those new rails are not only built to resolve the traffic problem they are also designed to create traffic, which is to attract people to satellite towns and boost economy along the line.

But emphatically agreed. D train second class ticket costs just 24 yuan 5 jiao, and it arrives in 24 minutes!
Yeah, what's up with that. I can understand Beijing-Tianjin C trains costing more than D train (would have cost) cause it runs at 300 kmph, but this one runs at 250.

Wuhan Metro videos, including those from Line 4 which opened late last year.

Wuhan Metro uses RFID tokens as single journey tickets.

I get it, it actually says go on (2 words), however, they have managed to squeeze the words together to entice the Aussies to get onboard for free goon! Yum!

I love how the entire line is color coded, train, walls, stairs...etc to the specific line you're on.

I've seen in this thread a future map with over 25 lines for Wuhan metro. When is it supposed to be completed?

I heard Wuhan will construct a tramway system. Is it true? If yes, please post some details.

LRT is possibly being used in the suburban areas. Line 24 (a western extension of Line 4) is being looked at for possible LRT operation. However AGT and monorail operation is also being looked at for this line. Basically, the 2X series suburban rail transit lines are all being looked at using metro, LRT, AGT, or monorail tech.

They will. Construction of tramways/light rails has started in both Hanyang and Optics Valley (Guanggu) areas. Below is a poster showing where T1 and T2 splits and how T1 crossed the 3rd ring expressway on viaduct.

When you look at their long-term plan there is one more tram/light rail system under consideration besides the Hanyang and Optics Valley systems. The municipality was discussing the possibility to introduce trams to downtown Hankou (dotted lines in the map below) where such a system was proposed but never built during its concession-era.

Well, this list is actually just the plan submitted to the NDRC and was awaiting approval, which should typically take around one year. It was presumed that some of the lines on the list would be cut from the approved version.

Wuhan might have the most aggressive metro construction plan in China. This map will look very different by year 2020.
