Please try to answer these -
1) Reserved or unreserved, - which type of track layout is common in Anren tramway network?
2) Which is the busiest tram terminus?
3) Where is/are the depot(s) of the tramway network?

This is a tourist tram line like Xi'an Qujiang monorail. Anren is a county of Chengdu prefecture. I suggest we merge this thread into Chengdu Public Transport.

What station is that? Asking since I see the CRH1 waiting at a metro station.

Good eye. That's Xipu Station (犀浦站). It seamlessly connects with ChengGuan intercity HSR (成灌铁路) at this station. You can see that in the last two pictures.

ChengGuan HSR serves like a high-speed commuter rail, connecting Chengdu. Dujiangyan and Qingchengshan. It's 67km, max 220km/h, opened in 2010.

Not only is China building a fantastic long distance high speed rail network but their local high speed rail network is looking to be pretty impressive as well.

Can you use the city smartcard to go to the other cities on this CRH line?

Interesting design. May I ask a couple questions about the station design?
  • How do passengers interchange between the HSR and metro?
  • Do they use the same ticket and just cross the platform?
  • Or if there is a set of turnstiles for interchange on the platform?
  • Are the platforms of the HSR and metro separated by fences?
  • If yes, what's the purpose of putting them together as a single island?

Thanks in advance.

1. I think passengers have to go to the lower level to interchange.
2. Should be different types of ticket;
3. I don't see turnstiles on the platform;
4. From the second to last picture you can see there's a fence separating HSR and metro;
5. That will save a lot of money sharing island; BTW it's not too hard to go down 1 level and up to interchange, isn't it?

Those blue poles in ocean park make the station look quite unique

a bit OT, June 7. CRH6-400 shipped to Chengdu, will be used in ChengGuan HSR

ChengGuan HSR is likely to operate like Shanghai Jinshan Line 22.

So CRH6 may be put into commercial operation in Chengdu earlier than Zhuhai?

It seems that there are turnstiles for transfer. You can see them on the right of the last pic:

Logically it costs more to build cross-platform interchange between local metro and HSR. The extra cost includes the fence to separate the platform, twice the number of turnstiles for transfer (at least 1 set per platform rather than 1 set per concourse), turnstiles accepting both types of tickets (software cost).

yes there are turnstiles for transfer. People can do the transfer from the same level conveniently. Here's another set of photos clearly showing that.

Chengdu-Qingchengshan high speed railway has numerous stations under construction:
Anjing
Xipu East
Pi County East
Pi County
Ande
Chongyi
Juyuan
Zhongxing

How is the progress of these stations, and when shall trains start to stop there?
