Barsby, there are scores of Trump-less towers going up in the city right now: NYTimes, Bank of America, Bloomberg most notably.

Has to be the best looking tower built in NY in the last few years (which includes some stiff competition, especially Condé Nast and Bloomberg). Norman Foster rocks: the interiors of the building are going to look as amazing as the exterior, particularly the huge plaza in the bottom of the old Hearst Building, if the rendering on page 1 of the thread is anything to go by.

This was always going to be a great building. After all, it's a Foster...

but

Why are some of you saying how big or "huuuuuuuuuge" it looks? Sure it's tall, but quite in the mid-range field really.

Compares to the Rendering, facade looks very different.

I love this tower, sleek and elegant and in ways simple (elegant in it's simplicity).

in what way is it different from the rendering??

think this is my favourite tower u/c anywhere in the world right now, the facade looks gorgeous especially now a few more of the silver bits have been added, cant wait to see this finished.

Wow!!!! Tower looks nice!
Chad, maybe the glass in the render was too reflective and made like a surface, not as different glasses making the facade.
