I really don't like this building. It's cool how it's on top of an old building and all, but it's just not my type of skyscraper. Neither is Swiss RE btw.

I agree, maybe if they had built a skyscraper with Art Deco resemblence, like Bank of America in Charlotte,It would have been better.

They are currently building some nice things in NEW YORK. It's amazing that they will build the tower on that other building, lol.

I have a feeling that it will look much better when it's built than shown in he renderings. I tend to think the real thing always looks much better than the renderings.

the coolest building being built in the city right now. i work a block away - and can't wait to see this thing rise up. Foster's London (St. Mays Axe?) Bldg. looks like a big butt plug to me - but this one in visually more interesting to me.

God I wish they chose his design for the WTC. sigh

Great work by Norman Foster! It's fantastic that he respects the 'historic' building beneath. Superb!

This tower is awesome the way it's going to become, but imagine if it went up to 1000 feet and was a part of the new WTC...

I noticed that too. Well, I don't know what it is. Must be another skyscraper in clouds or some sort of mist.

Behind it there is Central Park Place and ghosts of WTC. Well, that's actually TWC, but in several ways they ARE ghosts of WTC, like some resemblance on the skyline.
