My tv isn't actually at the cutting edge of technology, though it displays motion correctly and has a proper contrast ratio (unlike the new LCDs).

32" Sony Trinitron
(I also own a much newer 20" Philips CRT, and a 20" GE (Thomson) crt).

My main computer I built myself.
AMD Athlon X2 3800+
1.5gig DDR PC3200 ram
500w HEC power supply
Gigabyte Mobo
Nvidia GeForce 7300gt (I also have a 9500GT, but it's either dead or Nvidias newer drivers are complete garbage because I can no longer run it without it crashing)
Ubuntu 9.10/Windows Vista

It may be replaced soon.

i heard from a work colleague that the next iphone will come with a flash light with the camera, anyone know anything more?

as few people here know that i got my 1st iphone last week friday and had a bit of trouble transfering contacts from my old phone but i managed to sort that out. After using it over the weekend i have to say i love it, pretty certain i will never go back to a non touch screen again.

the only issue i have with the phone is the camera, i like my old sony erricson (5mp camera) flash light and the photograpy quality is also better especially on the dark, apart from that the i phone rules.

if you want to save battery switch off 3g option and wifi, that helps

I guess it's the way the living room entertainment system is set up. IMHO it looks like something a college student/young professional would set up, not that there's anything bad with it, I actually like it and it looks trendy. It's just that when I think of a living room inside a family household I picture something more rustic/wooden furniture and things like that. lol

^that can't be right, you should contact them - a German mate of mine got his within a week ( trough a store )

Is it a custom set up? ( a google search seems to put the blame on a shortage on certain graphics card chips )

( on the Danish site the 21" ships instantly and the 27" is set to 2 weeks )

Thanks to all the picture sharers - I'll snap some pics of my gear later today or tomorrow..

Another cool tech that is emerging is projected touchscreens..

It's not a brand new tech, but it has evolved a lot and I wouldn't be surprised if we'll get to see a lot of this in the comming years..

I know it's used in schools around here ( back in my day we used chalk on a blackboard ) but I would expect to see it in everything from restaurants, homes, shops, gov offices and simular.. and of course as toys for the kids..

A little later than promised - here's my TV and Desktop..

I recently switched my old Plasma with a 46" LED TV

And my Mac

In my bedroom I use a small Dantax ( cheap Danish brand ) LCD TV with a build in DVD player, nothing impressive about that but the timer function and DVD player is my best friend friend as it really helps me fall to sleep ( have some sleep problems )

Thanks to all who have shared so far and thanks to those who will in the future ( get snapping guys )

There you have it:

The setup in my living room.... My Samsung 46'' LED ( model 786R ), a WD live player, the PS3, and a Onkyo A/V Reciever.

I want to buy an LCD screen for our living room so I can hopefully steal the one that's already there. It's a 32'' Polaroid LCD tv, and we got it back when LCDs were still pretty expensive. (Got it for $600... and they sell 42'' at around that price now) It was a terrible choice. Polaroid's speakers suck.
