Released April 24, 2012:

Another new mall to open this year is SM City Consolacion
in Cebu.

After nearly two decades, a much-awaited second SM mall
will open in Cebu, dubbed as the Queen City of the South. Cebu is
widely recognized as the main business, industry, transpor tation,
and tourism hub in the Visayas. Together with its predecessor,
SM City Cebu, which was inaugurated in November 1993, SM City
Consolacion will serve the shopping, dining, and enter tainment
needs of this highly developed province.

SM City Consolacion will be a three level shopping center
with a vibrant, well-propor tioned exterior appearance, featuring
a combination of crisp colors and materials and a dynamically
patterned and curved facade, all detailed for a modern
sophisticated appearance. When approaching the mall from
the national highway, shoppers will immediately take notice of a
double-height iconic glass wall that reveals the activity inside the
mall.

As in most other SM malls, it will house an SM Depar tment
Store and an SM Supermarket. It also features an al fresco dining
area in its food cour t and a Cyberzone for the latest in tech
gadgets and equipment. Four cinemas will serve the needs of
avid moviegoers. Covered parking for close to 900 vehicles will be
available.

How does this compare to the other SM Malls in terms of size like to those in CDO, Davao, Iloilo or Bacolod? No pun intended.

since there is a covered parking space which accomodates 900+ vehicles, i assumed it is included in GFA's calculation...so, medyo nidako ang figure sa GFA tungod ana...sakto ba ko @sinj?

...but ang question ang GLA...pila kaha ka sqr.mtrs.? or pila kaha ka sqr.mtrs. ang GFA without the covered parking space

Not sure, murag basement man yata ang parking, kung basement, wala na'y apil sa GFA. I assume ang added GFA kay tungod sa pag-add ug third level. Diba orginally two-levels ra man ang plano ani?

Let's wait nalang inig abli. I can feel hapit na. Sa pics, murag human naman ang sulod.
