Mexico City is one of the biggest cities in the world. It should have more big buildings than New York City.

Mexico City for many years was afraid of the earthquakes, cuz most of the city's landscape is over an antient lake, so the city was built in a horizontal way, but in the last years (mostly since 1999's) the new goverment, new construction laws, allowed to build the city in a vertical stand, so, we are in our way

EL Hotel es un edificio ubicado en la esquina del predio que da a Blvd. Manuel Ávila Camacho e Ingenieros Militares. El Centro Comercial EL TOREO con sus cinco niveles será uno de los más espectaculares y completos del país. Con un esquema claro y eficiente a partir de la forma triangular del medio se crea un interesante espacio de anchos pasillos ligados por puentes, todo ello techado con una espectacular cubierta que permite ver al cielo y tener ventilación natural. Además en el segundo nivel (cuarto del total) se ubicará un parque de 6,000m2 con árboles naturales grandes y un diseño de paisaje inexistente en el país. El Centro Comercial cuenta con 100,000m2 rentables y 210 locales entre los que destacan las 15 pantallas de CINEPOLIS; las tiendas de INDITEX que incluyen Zara, Oysho, Berska, Zara Home, Pull & Beer, y las de Grupo AXO, Brooks Brothers, Sephora, Guess, Crate and Barrel y otras como Sanborns, Telcel, H & M y Best Buy. El primer nivel del Centro Comercial lo conforma un semisótano que aprovecha un desnivel de aproximadamente siete metros entre el Blvd. Manuel Ávila Camacho y Río San Joaquín. En este nivel se ubicará una tienda CHEDRAUI SELECTO con una superficie de 11,291.41m2; locales comerciales con una superficie de 3,141.59m2; andenes de carga y descarga en 2,094.52m2; espacios para equipos en 3,797.92m2; un track comercial con 3,096.75m2 y un estacionamiento con 243 cajones. En total esta planta cuenta con 37,534.99m2.

El siguiente nivel se denomina planta baja y se compone por un track comercial de 5,448m2; locales comerciales en 19,680.80m2 y pasillos de servicio y baños con 1,091.13m2. Lo anterior suma 26,219.93m2.

El primer nivel del Centro Comercial cuenta con los mismos elementos de la planta baja: track comercial con 4,127.31m2; locales comerciales con 19,211.64m2 y pasillos de servicio y baños con 1,367.37m2. Todo ello alcanza una superficie de 24,706.32m2.

El segundo nivel del Centro Comercial tiene un track de 2,906.89m2; locales comerciales con 15,753.73m2; pasillos de servicio y baños en 1,489.44m2 y una superficie de 5,204.75m2 destinada a un bosque de árboles naturales con algunas áreas incluidas para mesas de restaurantes.

El tercer nivel (5º del Centro Comercial) se organiza en la periferia del Centro Comercial con vistas hacia el bosque en el nivel interior. Aquí se encuentran las 15 salas de cine con 6,601.14m2; el área de comida rápida con 23 locales en 944.42m2 y una área de mesas con 2,121m2. También en este nivel se encuentra un local para entretenimiento de niños con 1,232.40m2. Además tiene una superficie de track y terrazas con 2,851.09m2 y finalmente pasillos de servicio y baños en 690.39m2.

La superficie total construida del Centro Comercial es de 121,754.62m2.

Adicionalmente todo el Centro Comercial esta cubierto por una techumbre semiabierta que abarca una superficie de 26,439.44m2.

El conjunto de oficinas de EL TOREO se conforma por tres torres alineadas al paramento del predio que da a Río San Joaquín. Estas torres tienen diferentes alturas descendiendo de norte a sur.

La Torre 1, cuenta con 29 niveles y se localiza en la punta norte del predio. Su acceso es a través de un “Motor Lobby” que conecta el Blvd. Manuel Ávila Camacho con Río San Joaquín. En total cuenta con 59,962 m2. Sus plantas son de 2,141.5 m2 cada una.

La Torre 2, de 18 niveles tiene el acceso, al igual que la Torre 3, a través de un “Motor Lobby” lineal que corre paralelo a la lateral de Río San Joaquín. Por este lobby se accede a un vestíbulo en planta baja. La superficie total de esta Torre es de 42,377.55 m2 y sus plantas son de 2,275.08 m2.

La Torre 3 tiene 14 niveles con 25,716.47 m2 construidos y plantas de 1,978.19 m2.
