Akash, nice pics of Hubli. I lived in Hubli for a few years in the early 80's, Hubli sure has changed a lot.

I remember the yummy mirchis & badam halwa (@ Hotel Ashok) served in Hubli. What is Iskcons girmit shown under Hubli special in the menu?

Girmit rocks!

& Yes Hubli has changed a lot and is changing for the better with more lung spaces under creation for the city to breathe better,5 lakes and numerous gardens like MG Park etc are being developed as tourist spots.

Isckon has a restaurant on the hill so the name Isckon girmit,I don't think it is any different from the usual one.

Nrupatunga Garden is pretty nice. I went there in January and there was quite some stuff going on...Live Music, , good food and nice garden
