Kunming bus thread

Kunming is called spring city, and the city is not hot and cold,so kunming's bus has no air conditioners.

Unless cities can get a picture like this, they shouldn't be investing in dedicated bus lanes.

That red bus looks a bit like the bus we have in The Haarlemmermeer a part of Holland, a special busline,,,

Anyway, I think that the Bus System is quite good in Kunming, but the thing is the city population and new districts are expanding rapidly. When will be the lightrail start to build? Kunming's Public transportation need to be more diversified in the near future. The traffic jam is horrible there as I heard. Kunming's Bus is so lovely.

Kunming needs a light rail system, in fact, any Chinese city with more than 500k people needs a light rail system!

. Opening date is 2012 or 2013 (More likely 2013), so I believe it's the test section.
