Thanks for sharing.

The airport line will soon be connected to Lines 1 and 3.

Why are lines 3 and 6 shown as separate lines? Why not name line 6 as a continuation of line 3? Maybe it's a future junction that looks like one line right now.

The map clearly shows Line 6 is projected to continue southwest from East Bus Station

Wait something is not right, why is the second set of doors facing a non moving portion of the PSD. Are these 4 door train sets going to to placed on urban lines when they open and 2 door train sets similar to HKs airport express going to be phased in?

Also, the PSD doors are much wider than the train doors. At least they got them to align.

I think it's a standard for many airport line systems and metro/subway systems to have PSD doors...

I took line 6 on the weekend.

-It takes twenty minutes to go between Dongbu Bus Station and the Airport
-It costs 5 yuan for the Single-Use Ticket; the local IC card was *not* accepeted unfortunately.
-It's almost half underground so don't get to see as much as I had thought.

I tried uploading a few pics to Flickr, but China doesn't seem to like the website so I am unsure if my pictures were successfully uploaded or if it's just the Great Firewall doing its "magic."

Is this the actual rollingstock or is this temporary stock on loan for the new line?

Haha, thanks.

Wasn't sure if they had uploaded or not. Might upload more later on if there is interest.

so is it correct that the 2 intermediate stations between the bus terminal and the airport have not yet opened? They're shown on the overhead diagram where the passengers enter the train.

Yes.

Dabanqiao (大板桥) is certainly under construction, but I didn't see anything at Airport Front (机场前) so not sure if its being built or I just missed it.

Strangely enough the official maps at the stations show Lines 1 and 2 as complete. When you bought the ticket, there were even options for them.

Strange thing about this line is the fact that the last train leaves at 18:10 which doesn't seem terribly conveniant if you arrive or depart on a late flight.

Go back on the Metro, buy a ticket for Line 1 or Line 2 and then tell them you paid for the ticket and want to ride what you paid for. It'd be interesting what they'd say.

Ask for a tour of the construction site?
