Izmir looks nice. With Canada playing there it's a tempting trip!

What a pity that Poland isn't among the participants:/

I propose one more group in Polonezköy with Poland, Italy, Japan, FYROM Macedonia, Senegal and Nigeria.

Stadiums looks great; Kadir I've taken a particular liking to. On a sidenote, are ticket sales strong? Capacities seem quite high. Would be nice to see an international basketball event with sold out arenas for every match.

I'll say either Spain or USA wins the championship. I think Spain can definitely pull up the upset, the got a great team: Rubio, Marc Gasol, Paul Gasol, Navarro, Rudy Fernandez, Garbajosa, etc. They have great chemistry too, something US may not have.

yes capacities of the group stage arenas are higher than 2006 World Championship in Japan.

Actually I tried to buy ticket, but it is said they are not sold yet. However prices are really cheap. it is possible to watch the all final stage matchs with a € 70 ticket.
