It seems quite impressive what she did judging by that text in the post above.

BTW what does T/O stand for in the threadtitle?
A lot, more notably the Repulse Bay Hotel Building, and several buildings (not as obviously seen) along the Hong Kong Island skyline... among others.

Chinachem is a relatively small property developer and a lot of their projects are suburban, so they don't have a marked representation in the skyline. L'Hotel Repulse Bay is an exception, but that is away from the main skyline.

Here is a rendering of what Nina Tower was supposed to look like before the planners axed that plan due to its commanding height in the middle of the flight path :

That proposal at the time if built would have been the world's tallest building

Nina Wang originally wanted to build the world's tallest building in Tsuen Wan, which was axed by the government since it was too close to the flight path. Hence, 2 shorter buildings came up as a result.

Yes. There is a diagram & a little information about it HERE

I love the final "product". The whole complex is so high-tech looking.

BTW The names of the 2 towers make sense now re "Nina & Teddy Towers". Kind of a shame Nina died this year, unable to see her husband's namesake tower fully completed.

Thanks for all the info posted guys

RIP Nina Wang.

It is a shame she will never see the finished product.
