These are by no means "historic" since they are brand new, but I see a lot of modern theaters here so I will offer up the Winspear Opera House and Wyly Theatre in the Dallas Arts District...

Great Theatre, Warsaw, built in 1825-1833, is one of the oldest and greatest theatre building in Europe. New scene of Great Theatre (built after II WW) is so great that can receive hole building of La Scala.

Buenos Aires has a lot of theaters and its cultural life is very important, few cities in the world have as many theaters as the capital of Argentina (more than 300 theaters).
Some other theaters: CERVANTES THEATRE - Official Site ![]() GRAN REX THEATRE (Corrientes Av.) ![]() COLISEO THEATRE - This theater was demolished in 1937 ![]() ![]() An important fact is the existence of a national law ordering the construction of a theater where a theater has been demolished. In other words, where a theater was built, there will always be a theater. Last edited by DtRc; March 28th, 2010 at 09:20 AM. |
