Amazing thread, amazing architecture

Here is the National theatre Ivan Vazov in Sofia. A neoclassical building finished in 1906 and officially opened in 1907. The architects: Hermann Helmer and Ferdinand Fellner.

And as I saw people post Greek and Roman theatres, I will share with you the theatre I visited the most during my childhood. The The Roman theatre of Plovdiv, built during the 2c AD during the roman emperor Trajan. The thatre was found dirung the 70s, restored and is used today, it hosts for example The Verdi nights.

Herbst Theater, San Francisco, CA

At 928 seats, it's far from the largest in town, but it's my favorite and a perfect venue for chamber music performances:

This is the building exterior though the Herbst takes up only a small part of it
