Is this building under construction here in the middle of the skyline?

Yes, AURA's there. It's hard to see even for someone like me who knows exactly where to look. You can see it with the top 10 floors unglazed and the construction elevator going down the side.

Oh, there. I thought that was a smaller building behind Yonge Street.

For a 272m building, it sure doesn't stand out that much from that angle. The bottom half inside that red rectangle is actually 'Burano', only the top half is AURA.

That picture is from the summer, so it's not even close to 272 metres there.

It's well on to the curved part of the upper tower though so around 200m when that photo was taken. It won't stick out as much as Scotia Plaza or FCP due to the colour of the building.

I bet you can see Niagara Falls and New York from there.

Furthest I've seen is Rochester from the CN tower. Niagara Falls is usually easily visible, especially the mist rising from it. Buffalo on a clear day, and Rochester on an especially clear day.

I find this building a lot more attractive than Trump. Also looks like a great neighborhood to live in. Tons of shopping etc.

DT Buffalo has about a $billion under construction right now but it'd be nice if we could get a new building half this height. Tallest U/C is 18 floors. Send a few over would you?

272m in Buffalo? not really likely I don't think. This project alone probably costs close to a billion.

If only the first few floors weren't so ugly; a terrible distraction from an otherwise beautiful building.

Humility and modesty are good qualities to embrace in the face of success. Rubbing people's faces in it, not so much.
