I saw this building from not too far away when I was touring Ryerson. The photos don't do it justice, it looks way taller and better!

Huh? Whaaaa? So it wasn't just another promised feature on a render that never came through? Excellent...

It's a pleasant surprise for me as well. I saw that lighting feature on my way home a few hours ago.

Hopefully it'll actually be used. I still don't know what's wrong with the Trump one.

Status update please

Could we have a status update - what floor is it now at - and when is top-out expected. How many more floors or levels are still to be built ?

A diagram of the top levels might make it clearer to understand. The highest 7 levels visible in a Feb 14 close-up have floor heights higher than those below.

For a while I thought this job was to be topped out last fall 2013, but for some months progress has been very slow. We had an accident, Christmas Holidays, Ice storm, polar vortex, cold slump, all of which have delayed outdoor work.

Inside work could still be going on, but that's out of view. When do they plan to finish the inside work and connection to the PATH network ?

Thank you.

Judging by the increased ceiling heights for the top 2 floors it seems they're working on the penthouse floors. After that will come a fairly substantial 'hat' that tapers to end of the building. I don't have information about the rest.

Very nice photos, just wish Aura had a better design for being the most prominent building in that view.

Almost can't tell that these photos are of Toronto with the CBD towers cropped out and Bloor/Yorkville being minimized and blending into the background.

I like the design; I just wish the spandrel bits were higher quality curtain wall instead. The renderings showed an almost silver metallic appearance, but the actual material looks nothing close to that nice.

I happened to be downtown today and took some photos. One group was from the west - on Bay Street; the other was from Yonge and College.

Looks topped out. I thought the roof was supposed to be a bit curved at the top?

Perhaps they still have to build that part?
