From Greece

The village of Beloiannisz was built in the 50's for refugees from the Greek civil war.

Never heard about that. I know you have some city names signed in both Hungarian and German languages in the Budapest's area. Once I was on the way from Budapest to Esztergom I passed several towns and villages dually named such as Solymár (Schaumar)

But Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch (the full name) was invented in the 1860s as a publicity stunt.

Shhhh , but Llanfairpwllgwyngyll is still a long name, and either way, the long name is accepted regardless of whether it was invented or not.

Then again, look at Truth and Consequences, NM, also a name for publicity

There is another place in Wales called Llanhyfrydawelllehynafolybarcudprindanfygythiadtrienusyllafnauole since 2004 (previously called Llanfynydd). The new name as adopted as a protest against the building of a windfarm

And it would be just like the British to pronounce it "Larrock," or something, anyway....

Its roughly pronounced

Llan-vire-pooll-guin-gill-go-ger-u-queern-drob-ooll-llandus-ilio-gogo-goch

I'm sure that only Welsh speakers can go anywhere near to saying that

A couple of American tourists arrive to Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. They go for a meal and since they're very curious about the pronounciation of the town name, they ask the local staff:
- Could you please pronounce us, slow and syllabic, the name of this place?
- Sure. It is Bur - ger - King.

There are lots of Welsh names in the suburbs of Philadelphia, for some reason (Bryn Mawr, Haverford, Radnor, Merion, Gwynedd....), but none that are that long.

Denmark - actually it is the exit side, but on the other side it is the same - without the red line of course.
